Freddie injured for 10 days

After Arsenal's win over Liverpool on Sunday where Freddie suffered a calf injury, it has been confirmed that he is likely to be out for 10 days.  This rules him out of the Charlton game on Saturday.

Champion's League Quarter-Final Draw

Arsenal have been drawn to play Juventus in the UEFA Champion's League Quarter-Finals.  The first leg will take place at Highbury on Tuesday 28th March, kick-off 7:45pm.  The second leg will be played in Turin on Wednesday 5th April, kick-off 7:45pm.

Tonight's 0-0 draw at Highbury against Real Madrid has put Arsenal through to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champion's League.  Thanks to Thierry Henry's goal in the first leg in Madrid, the Gunners are now the only English team left in the competition.  The draw for the quarter finals takes place on Friday.

WORLD CUP DRAW

Sweden have been drawn in Group B for the Germany 2006 World Cup Finals along with England, Paraguay and Trinidad and Tobago.  Fixtures can be found in the Sweden section.

AJAX SQUAD NEWS

Freddie has not been named in the squad for the Champions League group game tomorrow against Ajax.  The manager has said he is resting some top players in order to give some of the younger squad members a chance to play in Europe.

FA CUP 3RD ROUND DRAW

Arsenal have been drawn to play Cardiff City at home in the third round of the FA Cup.  This match will take place on January 7th/8th (TBC).

CARLING CUP QUARTER FINAL DRAW

Arsenal have been drawn to play Doncaster Rovers in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup.  This match will take place on December 20th/21st (TBC) at the Earth Stadium.

To commemorative the final season at Highbury, Arsenal will wear a redcurrant home shirt in the 2005/6 season, similar to that worn in Arsenal's very first season at the stadium.  The shirt will be available to buy from June 22nd.
